Earlier this month, over 1,000 Flock Safety employees gathered in Atlanta for our fourth annual Flock Together conference. What began in 2021 as a small event at our headquarters has grown into a multi-day experience that brings our remote-first team together in person.
This year’s agenda was designed to combine company-wide alignment with personal development and team connection, including:
All Hands at the Tabernacle
We kicked off the week with a packed company All Hands at the Tabernacle, one of Atlanta’s most historic music venues. Leadership shared business updates, recognized team wins, and set the stage for the year ahead.
Leadership Insights with Bob Swan
Bob Swan, former CEO of Intel and longtime executive at companies like eBay, joined us for a fireside chat on the realities of leading at scale. He shared practical lessons on leadership, accountability, and decision-making—prompting teams to reflect on how those principles apply to our work at Flock.
Choose-Your-Own Learning Tracks
Employees took part in breakout sessions tailored to their roles and interests—ranging from deep dives into product and finance to cross-functional workshops designed to strengthen customer impact.
Employee Resource Group (ERG) Activities
Our ERGs—The Women of Flock, Melanin Motion, and Flock Proud—hosted interactive sessions to build community and foster inclusion, featuring activities like bracelet making, small-group discussions, and panels focused on experiences at work and beyond.
Evening Experiences in the Heart of Atlanta
From a night of live music and connection at the Tabernacle to an unforgettable evening at Mercedes-Benz Stadium—complete with field goal kicking on the turf—teams had the chance to step away from the day-to-day, connect in person, and experience Atlanta together.
As a remote-first company, we rely on digital tools to stay connected throughout the year. But Flock Together serves a different purpose—it gives people across teams and functions the opportunity to meet face-to-face, deepen working relationships, and strengthen alignment on company goals.
Chief People Officer Paige Todd summed it up well:
“Flock Together is our way of making sure that even in a remote environment, we stay connected to each other and to our mission. It’s intentional time to reset, realign, and build momentum going into the rest of the year.”
While the sessions and experiences last just a few days, the impact from Flock Together carries forward into the months ahead. Teams leave Atlanta better aligned on priorities, more connected to our mission, and equipped with new insights to move our work forward.
As we continue to grow, making space for connection, learning, and collaboration will remain a priority. We’re already looking ahead to what next year’s Flock Together will bring.
