Lexington PD say they would not have found this person if it weren't for the Flock Safety system.
"Our officers had the suspects in custody within 15 minutes," said Sgt. Michael Richards with the Tracy Police Department.

“A lot of it’s with Alzheimer’s/dementia patients that are out. They... haven’t returned home, so the kids are calling. So, we’ll put that plate out in the reader and that car comes through the area, we’re able to...get that person home safely. So that’s been huge in helping out with that,” Lt. Rene Gonzalez said.
“It’s amazing. The best part is that it flags vehicles with criminal activity,” said City Manager Chris Pozzuto.
