The Fort Worth Police Department is a leader in real-time policing, having launched their Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) nearly a decade ago, in 2015.

Lieutenant Robinson and Sergeant Shipp explain that the department listened to community concerns about crime and recognized that partnering with residents and investing in advanced technology would be the most effective approach to preventing and solving more crimes.

“So to anybody who wants to start a Real Time Crime Center—the biggest piece of advice I can give you is to start a Real Time Crime Center.”
