


Dan Haley Joins Flock Safety as Chief Legal Officer to Help Communities Thrive Through Ethical Innovation
Flock Safety, the leading safety technology platform dedicated to creating thriving communities, today announced the appointment of Dan Haley as Chief Legal Officer. In this role, Haley will lead Flock’s legal and compliance strategy, advising on governance, regulatory matters, and risk as the company enters its next phase of high-growth expansion, building on a milestone year that included a $275 million fundraise at a $7.5 billion valuation and recognition as #7 on CNBC’s 2025 Disruptor 50 list.
A Proven Legal Leader
Haley brings more than two decades of legal and executive experience across fast-growing technology and healthcare companies. He most recently served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Guild, where he oversaw the legal and information security functions at the education benefits platform during a period of significant transition and expansion.

Legal Experience Across High-Growth Companies
Prior to his time at Guild, Haley served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Sprinklr, where he built and led world-class legal, compliance, and data privacy teams through and following the company’s successful IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.
Haley also spent seven years at athenahealth in senior leadership roles, including Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and General Counsel, where he oversaw legal, human resources, and regulatory affairs.
Earlier in his career, Haley held legal and leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, including as a partner at McDermott Will & Emery and as an associate at Goodwin Procter. Haley earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Middlebury College and his juris doctor from Harvard Law School.
