When a child goes missing, every second matters. That’s why Flock Safety partners with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) to give law enforcement the tools they need to respond quickly. In this video, Flock’s Public Affairs Director Trevor Chandler sits down with Dr. John E. Bischoff III, Vice President for the Missing Children Division at NCMEC, to discuss how this partnership is helping bring children home safely. Together, they explore NCMEC’s decades-long fight to reunite families, combat child exploitation, and leverage modern technology to save lives.

How do Flock and NCMEC work together to bring missing children home safely?

Through Flock’s integration with NCMEC’s AMBER Alert system, law enforcement agencies receive near-real-time alerts when a vehicle linked to an endangered or abducted child is detected by License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras. Since announcing the partnership in 2021, this collaboration has already contributed to the recovery of over 100 children nationwide. From safely locating a kidnapped newborn in Ohio to resolving an AMBER Alert in Kansas in under an hour, these stories highlight how technology and teamwork can make the difference between recovery and tragedy.
