A grand theft report from an Ulta location led police to arrest two individuals suspected of stealing $20,000 worth of items. The suspects are also linked to other theft cases.

Employees at the Ulta store informed police that the suspects entered the store, filled shopping bags with nearly $9,000 in merchandise and left within minutes.

Thankfully, officers were able to track the suspect’s vehicle from a Flock camera alert - and eventually stopped the vehicle. The suspects were taken into custody after police found bags containing over 440 stolen items linked to the case and others.

The combined value of stolen merchandise from Carlsbad and other counties is estimated at about $20,000.
