In a historic milestone for the safety of San Francisco residents, Mayor Breed announced the installation of 400 Flock Safety Falcon® LPR cameras that will be installed across the city.

With the safety of residents – along with transparency and trust – in mind, the Mayor’s office, San Francisco PD, and countless other community members and city officials collaborated to bring this solution to the residents of SF.

“We have to do everything we can to ensure safety. So when we’re talking about car break-ins and car theft… when we’re talking about sideshows and some of the other issues that have happened in our city, automatic license plate readers can play an invaluable role in helping us to track some of the perpetrators of these crimes and hold them accountable."
San Francisco Mayor London Breed

Hear directly from Mayor Breed about this important step forward for how San Francisco will solve crime and shape a safer community for everyone.
