AirSight and Flock Bring Airspace Intelligence Into One Operating Picture
A new partnership between AirSight and Flock connects real-time drone detections with FlockOS, helping law enforcement agencies move from airspace awareness to coordinated response in a single workflow.
AirSight and Flock announced a strategic partnership that brings AirGuard airspace intelligence directly into FlockOS, creating a more connected view of active incidents for law enforcement, corrections, critical infrastructure operators, and security teams.
The integration delivers real-time drone-tracking data from AirGuard into FlockOS. Airspace detections, including operator location when available, now appear alongside the License Plate Reader (LPR) alerts, video, and live intelligence agencies already use every day. The result is a single operating picture that helps teams move from detection to response with greater speed and coordination.
The partnership follows a recent investigation in Grant Parish, Louisiana, where AirSight and Flock played distinct and complementary roles in supporting a drone-borne smuggling case at a correctional facility.
A Real-World Example in Grant Parish
In March 2026, the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office announced charges against two Texas residents following an alleged drone-borne smuggling operation targeting a correctional facility. According to the Sheriff’s Office, authorities intercepted a scheme involving methamphetamine, marijuana, tobacco, contraband cell phones, and other items concealed inside modified plastic crow decoys.
AirSight’s AirGuard platform detected the unauthorized drone as it entered protected airspace and identified the operator’s broadcast location. Using that information, deputies located the individuals involved and used Flock's LPR to identify the vehicle associated with the suspects, providing investigators with critical leads. The Sheriff’s Office then conducted the investigation and made the arrests.
The case demonstrates the value of integrating airspace awareness into on-the-ground investigative workflows. AirGuard identified the activity in the air. Flock’s connected platform helps agencies organize and act on information across multiple data sources. Together, they provide a more complete picture of an incident as it unfolds.
“Smuggling contraband into prisons with drones is a rapidly growing problem. With drone detection, we now know when there’s a drone there and where the pilot is. If we can’t get there in time to arrest the suspect, we can now use the combined data to find and track their vehicle,” said Steven McCain, Sheriff of Grant Parish.
One View Across Air and Ground
The AirSight–Flock integration is designed around a simple goal: helping agencies work from the same picture during active incidents.
Every AirGuard detection, including drone position, altitude, heading, velocity, drone ID, and, when available, operator location, appears directly on FlockOS. Agencies can view drone activity alongside LPR alerts, video feeds, and other operational data without moving between separate systems.
For investigators and analysts, the integration creates a direct path from operator location to vehicle intelligence. When AirGuard identifies a pilot location, that information appears alongside Flock’s LPR network, helping agencies develop investigative leads and establish additional context around an incident.
The partnership also lays the groundwork for future response workflows. A forthcoming capability will allow AirGuard detections to automatically trigger Flock Drone as First Responder deployments, enabling agencies to launch aerial response assets within seconds of a confirmed unauthorized drone detection.
Built Around Existing Workflows
Public safety teams already manage information from multiple systems during fast-moving incidents. The value of connected technology comes from reducing friction and helping agencies work from a shared understanding of what is happening.
By bringing AirGuard detections into FlockOS, agencies can view airspace intelligence alongside the information they already rely on to investigate incidents, coordinate resources, and develop leads.
“Officers shouldn't have to switch between systems in the middle of an active incident, especially for situations that are rapidly evolving,” said Rahul Sidhu, Chief Strategy Officer at Flock. “Bringing AirGuard into FlockOS gives our officers and analysts the ability to locate hostile drones more quickly, and fully within the workflows they're already used to.”
Connecting Detection, Investigation, and Response
AirSight and Flock share a common objective: helping public safety teams act with greater clarity when time is limited.
AirGuard provides real-time visibility into airspace activity. FlockOS brings together the tools, data, and workflows agencies use to investigate and respond on the ground. Together, they create a more connected approach to drone-related incidents, from initial detection through investigation and response.
“Detection has never been the hard part. The hard part has always been turning a detection into something a law enforcement officer on the ground can act on, in time, with enough evidence to close the case,” said Robert Tabbara, Founder and CEO of AirSight. “Grant Parish is what that looks like when it works. Our AirGuard platform surfaced the pilot. Flock’s LPR network helped identify a suspect vehicle. The Sheriff’s Office did the rest.”
As drones become a larger part of the public safety landscape, agencies need tools that connect information across the environments where they operate. This partnership brings airspace intelligence into the same operating picture that agencies already trust to coordinate response, develop leads, and support investigations.
