Sunbeam knew they had to figure out how to get ahead of this issue and any similar problems that may occur. 

‍Local Police Recommend Flock Safety Cameras

Sunbeam contacted a local police sergeant, who recommended Flock Safety cameras. Police in the area were already using Flock Safety, and they knew it would be a good fit for Sunbeam’s community. Implementing Flock Safety technologies also allowed Sunbeam to strengthen bonds with local police. 

Sunbeam started with a few cameras, then expanded to cover all ten entrances with 20 cameras. 

‍Issues with Trespassers Leaving Trash that Attracted Raccoons

Shortly after installing Flock Safety LPR cameras, Sunbeam experienced an issue with trespassers entering the property at night and leaving food and other trash that attracted raccoons. This led to various complaints from tenants, negatively impacting their brand.

Sunbeam proceeded to investigate the issue using its Flock Safety LPR cameras. They were able to identify the individuals and obtain their tag numbers. They then added those individuals' tag numbers to Flock Safety’s Custom Hot Lists, alerting Sunbeam whenever past offenders tried to re-enter the property.
